...and here it is, Pen y Fan!
It's the one on the right, our route will follow the path you can see on the ridge to the right. This is steeper than it looks and will be a real killer after 69 miles! We descend round Corn Du (the summit to the left) before dropping down to the Storey Arms.
Well I've only done it three times, and in the Winter. The middle time, it was so cold that my eye-lashes actually iced together, twas a novel experience! So gotta do that last leg with you guys, if only to see if I did arrange Girls aloud to be at the top with a cuppa and bacon sandwich!
